Section description:

The outbreak of the global crisis in 2008 has wrenched the complexity of modern system of international relations. The crisis has highlighted the transformation of global political and economic configurations: the roles of major global powers and organizations, as well as new actors of the system of international relations, have changed dramatically. The increased interdependency of international economic and political spheres in a globalized world has led to overview of the complex of bilateral relations between Russia and the world countries. The system of international security has been subjected to transformations as a result of emergence of new actors and new threats to international security system. In the context of the current crisis it is vital to address new dimensions of the system of international security and to evaluate new threats and challenges to Russian security.

This section will discuss key vectors of Russian policy in addressing focal issues of post-crisis international security. Primary importance will be attached to the issues of new dimensions and threats of international security.
Section of junior researchers welcomes papers, addressing relevant issues of contemporary Russian policy in dealing new dimensions of international security.
